I would estimate the barrel to be from 1920 or so and the cap from 1880 or older. I've done my research and I believe this to be a one of a kind custom made fine writing instrument, possibly German or Swiss. I could not find another like this. I have graded this pen "D" using the scale at. 140 mm capped, 158 mm posted, other measurements in photos.
Weight: 20.3 grams - (empty of ink). Truly an enchanting writing instrument! A must have for any historic collection. If you have any questions about the item listed, please ask. I will answer to the best of my knowledge.
